Otterton Village is a small quaint village of lovely period cottages about half a mile from Ladram Bay. On the edge of the village, nestled alongside the River Otter is Otterton Mill.
I often find myself standing in the kitchen staring at the family planner counting down the days like an advent calendar. Willing those lovely LONG holidays to end so that I can get some normality back into my life.
It is very easy to see why people chose to go to Ladram Bay every summer, with the views, the small picturesque private beach and all of the activities it’s the perfect British holiday break.

At Base + Barley all day, every day except Monday, kids eat three courses for £1 when purchasing any adult main from the main menu! It’s a total bargain and we will definitely head back again sometime soon.

Forn has a fab gin menu that I’m planning on going back to work my way through at a later date. I ordered the saffron gin to taste and it didn’t disappoint.
